Geoffrey's Malibu founder Jeff Peterson is deeply committed to giving back to the local and global communities through a few passionate charity partners and projects. Peterson works with charitable organizations of all kinds, including his most recent project Malawi Rise, through Urban Promise International. 

This blog will serve as a way to update those who wish to keep up with these charitable efforts Geoffrey's Malibu is a part of, as well as learn how they can help contribute to these ongoing efforts.

More About RiseMalawi Ministries

RiseMalawi Ministries was established in 2008 in the Dowa region, a rural area that borders the capital city. Its goal is to equip children with the skills necessary for social development, economic independence, spiritual growth, physical well-being, and academic achievement.

Past and current projects include:

1. Building a well and water tower to provide clean water to over 250 children
2. A kitchen and storage area and open air pavilion that seats
    250 children for a place to eat and do homework and gathering
3. Purchasing land to build staff offices
4. Building teacher housing for teachers
